What we collect
We collect the information you submit through the consultation form: name, email address, optional phone number, country of residence, your interest and timeline and the description you provide. We also collect basic technical data needed to serve the site securely, such as IP addresses in server logs.
Why we collect it
Solely to respond to your enquiry, prepare consultations and provide our services. We do not use your data for advertising, we do not sell it and we do not add you to newsletters without separate, explicit consent.
Legal basis
Processing rests on your consent (the form checkbox) and on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries you initiate. Where Turkish law (KVKK) or the GDPR applies to you, both frameworks are respected.
Retention
Enquiry data is kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any subsequent engagement, and no longer than 24 months after last contact unless a client relationship exists or law requires longer retention.
Sharing
Your details are shared only with the people needed to answer you: James Chapman and, with your knowledge, the tax counsel or lawyers involved in your case. We use reputable infrastructure providers for hosting and email who process data under contract.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion or a copy of your data, and you may withdraw consent at any time. Email us and we will act within the statutory period. You may also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
Security
The site is served over TLS, data is stored on access-controlled systems and we minimise what we collect in the first place. Discretion is central to our service; that extends to your data.
