The Bodrum legend since 1977
Maçakızı
One Michelin star
The original jet-set address of the peninsula: barefoot luxury, floating sundecks and a Michelin-starred kitchen in Türkbükü.

Maçakızı began in 1977 as Ayla Emiroğlu's sixteen-room guesthouse and never lost that spirit: no televisions in the rooms, terraces under bougainvillea and the peninsula's most famous beach club on its doorstep. The restaurant, under chef Aret Sahakyan, holds one of Bodrum's three Michelin stars.
Its 74 rooms and suites step down the hillside to the bay, where the floating sundeck platforms have become the image of the Turkish summer. Airport transfers are part of the house style; so are the yachts moored just off the deck.
