Kaplankaya is where the coast goes quiet. The resort's 141 rooms and suites look across untouched hillsides, and its five private beaches rarely see a crowd. The spa is the point: 38 treatment rooms, a hydrothermal circuit from ice igloo to salt grotto, and screening-led programmes built around sleep, longevity and recovery.
Six restaurants and seven bars run from Aegean mezze at the waterline to charcoal grills in the hills. It is around an hour from the airport and a natural base for viewing days on the calm northern side.
