The marina and the international set
Yalıkavak
Home to the marina that changed the peninsula, Yalıkavak is Bodrum at its most international.
Yalıkavak Marina berths 620 yachts, takes hulls up to 135 metres and was voted the world's best superyacht marina two years running. Around it has grown an open-air quarter of more than 100 designer brands, restaurants of the Zuma and Novikov school and one of the liveliest promenades on the Aegean.
Above the harbour the old town keeps its windmills and back streets, and the hills behind hold some of the peninsula's most sought-after villa land, with sunset views across to the islands.
